Guest Speaker on Crime Prevention and Seniors Watch – Thursday, May 21st
The Social Committee is pleased to announce that a Guest Speaker has been secured who will share practical tips and resources to help ensure members’ overall safety and confidence. This speaker session will be held in the Main Hall at Heritage Hall on Thursday, May 21st from 10 am until 11:30 am. Pre-registration is required by completing the sign-up sheet to be found on the bulletin board in the Seniors Room in Heritage Hall. Please also note that registration is limited to the first 100 to sign-up.

Welcome to Spring Luncheon being held on April 16, 2026
The club is holding it’s Welcome to Spring Luncheon on Thursday, April 16 at Heritage Hall from noon until 3pm. Tickets are $15 for members. A lasagna lunch will be served along with a Bonanza Draw and Door Prizes. Tickets will be available from your activity leaders starting the week of March 23rd.
RiverGrove Seniors Friendship Club Expo at Rivergrove Community Centre
The RiverGrove Seniors Friendship Club is holding an Expo at the Rivergrove Community Centre on Friday, May 8th, 2026 from 10am to 2pm in the Senior & Youth Room. All Streetsville Seniors Club members have been invited to attend.
Spring Euchre Tournament being held on April 9th, 2026
The Spring Euchre Tournament is being held on Thursday, April 9th. Tickets for the tournament will be sold on Thursdays starting Thursday, March 19th at the Heritage Hall from noon until 12:45.
Bridge Activity is Moving to Tuesdays
The bridge activity is moving from Monday afternoon’s to Tuesday afternoon’s from 12:30pm to 3pm in the Conference Room at Heritage Hall. This begins on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
Purchase of Function Tickets
In order that all club members have an opportunity to purchase function tickets the following policy has been adopted by the Club Executive. Members can purchase a maximum of 10 tickets until after the last day of general sales.
Rule for Activity Cancellations Due to Winter Weather
The club executive has decided that any activity will automatically be cancelled whenever the Peel School buses in Zone 1 (Mississauga) are cancelled due to inclement weather. If you see that Zone 1 school buses are cancelled, any activity planned for that day will also be cancelled due to poor driving conditions. Every effort will be made to also send an e-mail message to the membership advising of the activity cancellation.

Streetsville Heritage Hall will be closed for a number of dates during the upcoming holidays.
Monday, December 22nd – The hall is open and in use from 12:30 pm.
Tuesday, December 23rd – The hall is closed, no activities.
Wednesday, December 24th – The hall is closed, no activities
Thursday, December 25th – The hall is closed, no activities.
Friday, December 26th – The hall is closed, no activities
Monday, December 29th – The hall is open and in use from 12:30pm
Tuesday, December 30th – The hall is closed, no activities
Wednesday, December 31st – The hall is open and in use in the am and pm.
Thursday, January 1st – The hall is closed, no activities
Friday, January 2nd – The hall is closed, no activities.
Most activities will resume the week of January 5th, 2026.
Holiday Break for Ballroom Line Dancing and Note-ables Choir
The Friday afternoon line dance will be breaking for the holidays after the session on Friday, November 28th. The activity will resume once again on Friday, January 9th, 2026 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. The Friday morning Note-ables Choir will be breaking for the holidays after the session on Friday, December 19th.
Mid block Traffic Signal Construction Near The Club – COMPLETED
The City of Mississauga has installed a new Mid block Pedestrian Crossing in the immediate vicinity of Streetsville Heritage Hall.
Current Club Activities
- Line Dancing takes place on Monday mornings starting at 10:00 am
- Old Time Square Dancing takes place Monday afternoons starting at 1 pm.
- Bridge takes place on Monday afternoons starting at 1 pm in the conference room.
- Yoga for Seniors takes place on Tuesday mornings starting at 10:30 am in the main hall room.
- Modern Square Dancing takes place on Tuesday afternoons starting a 1 pm.
- Kurling takes place on Wednesday mornings starting at 10 am.
- Bid Euchre takes place on Wednesday afternoons starting at 1 pm during the months of July & August only.
- Dominoes takes place on Wednesday afternoons starting at 12:30 pm and Friday afternoons starting at 1:00 pm in the conference room.
- Euchre takes place on Thursday afternoons. Play starts at 1 pm.
- The Note-ables Choir rehearses on Friday mornings at 9:30 am.
- Ballroom Line Dancing takes place Friday afternoons starting at 1 pm.
