Windrow Snow Clearing Program

The City offers a driveway windrow clearing program for residents 65 years and older, and for persons with disabilities. A windrow is the pile of snow left at the bottom of a driveway after a plow clears the road.

Sauga Connections for Older Adults – Virtual Programming

Mississauga Fire & Emergency Services Vulnerable Persons Registry

A person registered to the Vulnerable Person Registry can receive special assistance from Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services (MFES) firefighters during an emergency.

Current Club Activities being held at River Grove Community Centre

  • Line Dancing takes place on Monday mornings at 10:00 am
  • Square Dancing takes place Monday afternoons at 1 pm.
  • Dominoes takes place on Wednesday afternoons at 1 pm.
  • Euchre takes place on Thursday afternoons. Play starts at 1 pm.
  • The Note-ables Choir rehearses on Friday mornings at 9:30 am.

Restarting Activities at the Streetsville Seniors Club – Fall 2022

The Streetsville Seniors Club has restarted club activities at the River Grove Community Centre after a pause over the summer. Renovations are continuing at the Streetsville Seniors Hall. The River Grove Community Centre is located at 5800 River Grove Avenue in Mississauga. Membership fees for the 2022-2023 year are still $12 and are due now.

Renovations to the Streetsville Seniors Hall are starting in April 2022

The Streetsville Seniors Hall located at 327 Queen Street South in Streetsville will be undergoing much needed renovations begining in April 2022. Club activities are temporarily being held at River Grove Community Centre and activities will resume at the Streetsville Seniors Hall when renovations are complete.
